Choose the shape, material and artwork for your vinyl stickers
Treat shape, material and finish as separate decisions
Choose die-cut when the outside edge should follow the design. A circle, square or rectangle gives the artwork a regular frame. Kiss-cut leaves extra backing around the sticker; a sheet can group multiple designs in one format.
Standard printed vinyl gives the design a solid background. Clear material allows the application surface to show through around the print, and holographic material adds a rainbow effect. Check the dedicated clear or holographic product options when comparing those materials. Matte and glossy are finish choices, so check the finish selected for your order as well.
Explain the outline you want
Send an original design file when possible and tell the design team whether you want a border or artwork extending to the edge. A transparent image file does not itself select clear sticker material. Mention which areas should be printed and which should show the surface through.
Measure the intended space before selecting dimensions, then check the smallest text at the finished size. Our printed vinyl stickers include split-back easy peeling; the proof is where you confirm the artwork, border and cut shape before printing.
Plan around proof approval and delivery
Vinyl Status provides a free online proof and free design help. Check the artwork version, spelling, dimensions and cut shape, and request changes before approving. Time spent preparing or revising the proof comes before production.
Production takes 2 business days after proof approval. Shipping time is additional; review the options for your delivery address at checkout. Free shipping is available on orders $100+.
